Season 2 has already ended on HBO so I'm catching up via Comcast OnDemand. I'm not one to literally "laugh out loud" but Silicon Valley, along with VEEP and now The Brink, really do it for me. Kudos to HBO. They don't always hit home runs, but when they do, the bases are full.

(31,173 posts)I worked in advertising and was twice laid off, once so younger people who earned less could stay. I haven't seen one show -- the synopsis was enough to keep me away.

It uses the ad agency as protagonist for a very dark and cynical view of life.
