Survivor: Kaoh Rong - Episode Two

WORST TRIBAL PERFORMANCE is awarded to Jenny for slitting her own throat with a rusty knife.

Seriously, what a terrible tribal performance. HAs anyone ever walked into Tribal 100% safe, only to be voted out, not because someone else outplayed her, but because they played so badly. What was she thinking?

It was clear from the start that Blondie Alecia was the next to go. She tried hard, but took all day to finally make a fire. It did not earn her much respect.

The best part of the episode was clearly the budding bromance between Beast Mode Caleb and Tai. Tai is hysterical and Beast Mode is showing he can outright win this thing. He is playing a great social game and he clearly can do the physical part of the game. Tai found the location of the immunity idol, but cut himself up pretty good trying to get the key from a high tree. Now, if he can get the key, he should be safe for awhile. But that tree is hard to climb. Maybe make some shoe pads or something. A belt might help too. Good luck Tai!

Debbie continues to annoy at team nerd. She just does not know how annoying she is. Liz and Joe are starting to show signs of trouble. Maybe this tribe will erupt soon.

the IC was tough, with immunity and fishing gear on the line. They had to carry a 300 pound log through an obstacle course on land and through water. Beauty held up its physical side and beat the jocks and nerds. In the end though, all got to a target shoot close to the same time and it was a sling shot away from winning. But the big bad former NBA player could not hit the target and lost. Still, it is clear that Scott, Jason and Cydney are leading the team and Jenny is with them, so its clearly goodbye to Alecia.

Well, Jenny smartly started to consider her options. She considered the all girl alliance and taking out one of the big guys early. She approached Alicia and Cydney, who seemed like it could work, but Jenny could not pull the trigger. Cydney seemed concerned and it looked like ti was clearly going to be Blondie going home.

Still, at tribal, Jenny just volunteers that her alliance is not solid and she might not be with Jason and Scott. they were obviously shocked. they thought this was an easy vote to oust Alicia. she tries to talk her way through it, but in the end, its clear they are turning on her. BLondie sees the chance to go after her and align with the big boys, so she does. In the end, its Jenny saying goodbye.

good episode, though the bad tribal made the show.

They showed the real "beauty" of people!

I don't recall seeing anyone as happy as Alecia with that vote! And I have never been more impressed with an effort than her trying to start a fire for hours and hours, doggedly working at it. She made her own Redemption Island in my book!

Jenny - she better have her head examined. I mean, seriously! You think the eggs hatched?

Jenny made a very poor case to defend herself. She could have simply remained calm and blown it off as something Alicia cooked up to save herself. But the fact that she went into full blown panic mode, ranting and standing up to beg for another chance, she looked more guilty than ever.

If she woul dhave done what so many had done before her, just said "everyone has to think about themselves, but right now, for me the best thing is this strong alliance." But instead, she just melted down. Terrible.
