I protect the right of criminal defense attorneys to contact crime victims without going through a prosecutor.

On behalf of @AACJ_AZ, we filed a First Amendment challenge to AZ’s Victim-Contact Prohibition, which prohibited criminal defense attorneys from “initiat[ing] contact” with crime victims without going through a prosecutor.

don't victims have any rights?

i usually support the aclu, but i don't know about this one.

ACLU has made questionable (for me) legal claims from time to time in the name of "Free Speech" ..

I don't support the "cause" on a "no matter how extreme" basis. Somehow, your rights end when violating my rights doesn't seem to be of much interest to them, or not given equal weight.

I believe the rights of the victim should be given full protection from harassing attorneys et al.
