With more than 275 abandoned settlements of American origin, many of these places were frontier boom towns iconic of Arizona’s Wild West heritage. Today, many still exist in various stages of decay and each year, a little bit fades away into the land.

We love to take road trips through different areas of AZ - we have been to Tombstone many times..especially when company comes in from the Northeast..

Not so much ghost towns, but, not too far from where we are - Tortilla Flat is real western town - I believe pop is 6 - LOL..on the way to Apache Lake..Superior/Globe - out towards Hayden, old copper mining town, nice ride..Roosevelt Dam is awesome..
