WILLCOX, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
A crash involving a tanker truck of hydrogen peroxide has closed westbound Interstate 10 at milepost 329, west of Willcox, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Westbound I-10 remains closed, as of 5:22 p.m. Emergency response teams are on scene, according to officials with Cochise County. One patient has been transported to the hospital.

(55,008 posts)Think a helicopter just went by too. About 4 we heard what we thought were about 6 or 7 gun shots, still don't know what the hell that was. Around 5 a deputy calls to say a calf had been hit on Sybil Road, but it got up and walked away. Busy afternoon! I am supposed to go housesit in Tempe in the morning, but I am going to have to look around for it. Some asshole hit it and didn't report it. Another driver saw it and called the Sheriff and the deputy got there in time to see it get up and walk away.

(29,205 posts)and on Cascabel Highway too... many herds of cattle roam on the open range there and if you come around a curve too fast or pop over a hill... oops. Then at dusk you have to be careful of the deer.

(55,008 posts)From I-10 to just a little south of the railroad tracks. County "paved" the whole thing now, do you know that? The did "our" section first. They have a grant program to help with fencing on never-fenced, paved county roads but when I applied a few years ago they told me it was chip sealed and not paved.
