We finally have rain!

It has been raining for about 30 minutes in my section of South Scottsdale. A nice gentle rain has been falling which I know my desert plants will appreciate.

It looks like there's a possibility of a wet week.

NOAA Weather Radio is reporting snow in Show Low and flurries in Window Rock as well.

Tempe is a quarter mile from my house.

8. It's exciting. My niece and her boyfriend are in Tempe.

I can't remember the last time I was so relieved and joyful for rain.

The wind howling just makes you want to lie back down just a bit longer and listen..so serene..calm and quiet..

11. Raining in Glendale too. Happy dance. It was dark and didn't realize it

was raining until I opened the door to let the dogs out and they wouldn't go. They are such divas.

17. Been in the area of Old Town Scottsdale doing volunteer work since

nine this morning. We have kept the clouds and the breeze picked up a bit. No more rain so I am hoping maybe later this afternoon or tonight.
