AR-SD26: Early voting in State Senate District 26 Special Election runoff begins Tuesday

FORT SMITH -- Despite all the snow and ice, early voting polling sites across the River Valley are expected to open Tuesday for the District 26 Special Primary Election runoff.

The local runoff election will see retired Greenwood businessman Wade Dunn face off against another local businessman, Brad Simon of Paris, to determine the Republican candidate for the race.

The two candidates are running to fill the vacant state Senate District 26 seat formerly held by Gary Stubblefield, R-Branch, who died Sept. 2. The district includes portions of Franklin, Johnson, Logan and Sebastian counties.

Early voting is set to begin at polling sites across the four counties Tuesday with the election to take place Feb. 3.
