Central Arkansas students plan ICE protests at multiple schools
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On social media, posts of anticipated student-led ICE protests at multiple Central Arkansas schools have begun to circulate.
Some of the protest flyers that have found the spotlight are from students at Parkview, Joe T. Robinson, and Bryant.
The flyers state that Bryant students are expected to walk out in protest at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday, Joe T. Robinson students plan for 12:42 p.m. on Thursday, and Parkview students are anticipated to do so on Friday at 2:25 p.m.
Bryant Schools said in a Facebook post that they’re aware of posts advertising a walkout for Thursday, but this activity is not endorsed by Bryant Schools and they expect students to remain in class.
