Bronni in lead over Adams for Arkansas Supreme Court race
Justice Nicholas Bronni was leading attorney John Adams in the race for a seat on the Arkansas Supreme Court on Tuesday night, though the race remained too early to call.
Several counties had yet to report their tallies by late Tuesday night on the nonpartisan race between Bronni and Adams. Bronni is a former state solicitor general who was appointed to the bench by Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders in 2024.....
Adams, known for representing libraries in a legal challenge of laws that impose criminal penalties on librarians who provide minors with “harmful” materials, ran on the need for “judicial restraint” on the state’s highest court.
The men also discussed administrative ways they would like to improve the state’s court system.
