I checked the Weather Underground and it is cool up north where the fires are.

will have prime fire weather on Monday ( 88 degrees, dry and windy).

San Diego is 90 and it isn'the even noon yet. I hope we don't get some started down here. The last week of October is historically when our HUGE fires have occurred.

On the upside, I notice the air tanker drops are really hitting southern fires hard today.
