Heavy police presence at California High in San Ramon after threats
SAN RAMON — Amid threats that Thursday would be a violent one at their campus, students at California High School went about their day with an FBI and heavy police presence around them.
The early morning brought no drama, as officers and agents staked out the school following a series of threats that somebody would shoot up the campus.
Additional administrators from the San Ramon Valley Unified School District also were on the campus.
“The atmosphere is quiet, calm and positive,” district spokeswoman Elizabeth Graswich said in an email.
