In 1984 on this date 21 people were murdered in San Ysidro/San Diego area.

This was the 7th worst mass shooting in US history. A man with life long mental health problems and a life long love of guns killed 21 and injured as many before being killed by the police 77 minutes after he began what he said was, "hunting humans".

A few years earlier a high school girl who also liked guns and just got one as a Christmas gift fired on the school across the street, killing two. She did it because she "didn't like Mondays".

Why is this getting worse and not better? Americans love their guns, some love their guns more than people.

1. Huberty's wife was partially responsible, in my opinion

She didn't call 911 after he changed into camo clothing and said "I'm going hunting, hunting for humans".

Instead she laid down for a nap.

She sued McDonald's blaming the MSG in their food. The case was thrown out.

But yeah, she should've called the authorities immediately.
