Has anyone asked their poll workers how the turn out is so far?

I just dropped off my ballot (I LOVE voting and prefer to do it in person) and the poll worker said the turn out has been pretty good (San Diego). All my neighbors have voted as well as my family. I don't think Elder stands a chance.

When mine - Santa Clara - went to all mail-in for last year's primary they replaced most of the old local polling places with "vote centers", open to anyone from the county - but they still had at least one per town.
