URGENT! Home desperately needed for 2 Sacramento cats.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]Home desperately needed for 2 Sacramento cats, neutered males, Alvin (gray, age 6) and Opie (orange, age 5). Their mom has fallen on hard times and had to give them up. Their foster mom can't keep them for more than another week.

I'd take them myself, but I already have four cats that are hostile to the idea and space is an issue. I've spent time with them both and they're mellow, friendly, and affectionate, comfortable around dogs and children. Shots are up to date and they're in perfect health.

Please don't let these beautiful, affectionate boys end up in the city shelter. If you can offer Alvin and Opie a home or know someone who can, please PM me and I'll put you in contact with their foster mom.

1. There is a place called Fieldhaven, in Lincoln, near Sacramento.

They may not be able to take them but they may have some more places you could try. We have two already and I do not think we can take any more. Also I think there may be some shelters in Aurburn, just a little further up the road than Lincoln. It is worth a try and I wish you all the luck in the world. The look adorable.

We've had no nibbles at all for prospective forever homes, and want to do everything we can to make sure they don't end up at the city shelter.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]We may have found them a home. A nice lady took them on a "trial basis" to see how they get along with her other cats. If it works out, they'll have a wonderful new family.

If they don't do so well there, their foster mom will be taking them to Fieldhaven. I'll post the outcome when I know it.
