their reasoning for buying this house in crisis.. ."priced out of much of California".... not true. $1.3 M would have bought a nice house somewhere...just not with ocean views.

Their views to the ocean have improved substantially as houses around them descend into the earth.

They are both morons than. It is like building a home on a well known, historic flood plain and then being surprised when you can't get insur for it, it floods every other year and no buyers will look at it no matter how low the asking price.
