I was surprised, but there it is.
Ad also says Steyer mentions the CA Nurses Assoc endorsement.
Tom Steyers 2026 California gubernatorial campaign has secured key endorsements from progressive labor unions, environmental groups, and Democratic officials, highlighting his platform of taxing corporations, single-payer health care, and climate action. Major backers include the United Domestic Workers (UDW/AFSCME Local 3930), California Nurses Association, and Rep. Ro Khanna.
Key Endorsements for Tom Steyer (2026 Campaign):
Labor Unions: United Domestic Workers (UDW/AFSCME Local 3930), California Nurses Association (CNA), and California School Employees Association.
Officials & Politicians: Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17), State Senator Henry Stern, Assembly Member Alex Lee (Legislative Progressive Caucus Chair), Assembly Members Isaac Bryan, Gregg Hart, Ash Kalra, and Rick Zbur.

(114,004 posts)I just hope the Dems--some Dem(s) can pull off this jungle primary and not give the governorship to the R's. There IS reason to worry.

(29,349 posts)Candidates can't pit their egos aside and drop out. As has been said, Republicans don't win elections, Democrats lose them.

(2,306 posts)Hes done a lot of good and says a lot of the right things, but I just cant get away from the fact that hes a Silicon Valley bro. So is Tom Steyer, of course, so I guess that connection plays into it. I definitely dont trust him.

(9,495 posts)It was viscous and ugly, and reflected very poorly on his character in my view. I don't like seeing Democrats attack other Democrats with negative campaigns. That's what turned me off to Katie Porter.
I don't trust billionaires, and I would never vote for one if I had another choice. Khanna endorsing Steyer doesn't help my opinion of him.
I like Eric Swalwell, I hope he wins. I just loved how he confronted Kevin McCarthy!
