Covered California $85 per month option

We are seriously considering the Bronze for a few reasons....at least for the first year.

Most of what my wife gets done medically are not hardly covered in traditional plans.
The HSA is attractive for us to squirrel away $7,500 a year pre-tax for those treatments she gets that are not covered and to make up the difference on those that are.

At $85 per month we have room.
Of course we will talk to someone about this before our final decision as we will need the ACA via CoveredCA starting in May 2014.

My parameters were:

2 people
$46,000
92024
57 and 54

because they have at least some top notch doctors included in the plan.

I'm going to double check how much it is like a PPO where you can go
to a doctor without first seeing a primary doctor. The downside of this
EPO is that doctors are in some cases opting out due to reduced payment
and a wait and see attitude. Also, you cannot go out of the network at
all.

Went for the Silver instead, but the Bronze was tempting.
