We have a good bar with several craft beers here in Grand Lake. If you left now you'd get here by beer thirty.

its always beer thirty!

Next year we're going further north. This is our first trip since the surgery and we made it short and we got a nice b&b. Just staying a few more days.

The colors are beautiful up here. I'm sure they're beginning to change further south. Have a good, healing trip.

I'd be tempted to move up here.

Feeling really good for the first time since the June 19 surgery.

I got tired of all the sketchy pot dealers in Marble Falls and stopped smoking about a month before the surgery.

I like this little town and think I could live over a store downtown and get around on foot pretty well. I know this, the 100+ everyday in August and most of September in Texas really got to me this year. There's about four months of perfect weather in Texas per year cut into two parts and it seems worth it less every year.

May through September, now stretching into October. The lack of oxygen isn't much of a problem.. YET, but at 71 I'm feeling it. So fortunate that we can get away in the winter, just the last two years. This year we'll leave in November and return in March or April, depending on the weather.

I lived in Houston for 6 years and know what you mean. Seldom was the weather pleasant.

Good to hear you're on the mend.

in Colorado for three beautiful seasons. I too go South for about four months but there's no place like Colorado.
