'It won’t be until Monday evening that the National Park Service will make a decision
about whether to postpone the fireworks on the National Mall. The fireworks would only be postponed if there is heavy rain, thunderstorms or high winds. . .
The fireworks on the mall are expected to begin at 9:09 p.m. Monday. If the fireworks are postponed, they’ll be rescheduled for Tuesday evening.'
