Earlier this month, White House visitors saw the writing on the wall. It had been printed as a decal across several pieces of what appeared to be plain white paper in an ornate script typeface and affixed at head-height just outside the only exterior entrance to the Oval Office.
The Oval Office, read the makeshift sign. The letters were, of course, the color of gold. ... The government may be closed, but at least Kinkos is up and running, joked Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show at the time. Online, naysayers compared it to the font used in the Cheesecake Factory logo, a custom font with similarities to Windsor Bold, or the variety of fanciful fonts used to make those Live, Laugh, Love signs hanging in countless American living rooms.
