This is NOT good, soon DC will be a hot spot. And weather will improve tomorrow.

5. Try walking around Gallery Place without several people coming right up to you

asking for money. Way too close.

I also saw a few too many cars parked outside Union Market when I walked by. They do offer pickup and delivery for people who like to pay the high prices for those artisanal meats and cheeses. There's no reason to go in.

I deliberately scope out our smaller grocers and go inside only when there are relatively few people in there. I steer clear of the big stores right now.

6. Haven't been in town for quite a while,

so now just Giant in Calvert County, not very busy, plenty room between people and cars, and happily I don't need toilet paper!
