I also saw a few too many cars parked outside Union Market when I walked by. They do offer pickup and delivery for people who like to pay the high prices for those artisanal meats and cheeses. There's no reason to go in.
I deliberately scope out our smaller grocers and go inside only when there are relatively few people in there. I steer clear of the big stores right now.
