About All That Security Downtown Likely For the Republican National Convention
Prince Of Petworth Today at 9:45am
PLEASE BE ADVISED OF AN EVENT AT THE Ronald Reagan Building beginning today, August 20, 2020 and ending Friday, August 28, 2020 that may impact your accessibility into the premises. Due to security restrictions and security fencing perimeters staged around the building, including the Woodrow Wilson Plaza.
Last week Politico reported:
The Republican National Convention is coming to D.C. and to government property.
The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, a grand historic federal building located close to the Trump International Hotel, will serve as a central hub for speeches, according to two people familiar with the plans.
The convention will spread out across federal properties in, and possibly, around Washington.
