Parking garage collapses at Watergate

WASHINGTON — Firefighters are on the scene of a structural collapse of a parking garage at the Watergate hotel.
Metropolitan Police say several blocks of Virginia Avenue in Northweast are closed.
According to D.C. Fire spokesman, one person is injured. There is no word on the extent of the injuries.
This is a developing story. WTOP has a reporter headed to the scene.
