Moonrise and Venusrise over the Washington Monument

I'm guessing that's Venus. The timing is about right.

Absolutely beautiful pic. That's indeed Venus if this was right before sunrise - of course Venus can only be seen close to sunrise or sunset.

I've seen Jupiter, Venus, the moon, and Mars all hanging out near each other for a while.

Jupiter and Mars, from our perspective, are barely separated right now. So if that was Jupiter, Mars would be less than a fingertip to the right. Pretty sure that's Venus. Gorgeous.
