Moving to Tallahassee

Hey Guys,

I am moving to Tallahassee in a couple of weeks, what is the political climate in the city? I know the "panhandle" is considered conservative, but I was wondering about Tally itself. My fiancee is from Tally, but grew up in South Florida and only lived in the city for 5 years. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks..

How about places to hang out. It is home to FSU.. Nothing worse than having a community where you can only socialize with rednecks...

There is a Unitarian church in Tallahassee. There is always a source for knowledgeable people. Let alone a large university campus.
I see your local state Representative is a Democrat and the state senator -is also a Democrat.
But, Democrats are dwarfed by right wing Republicans in adjacent districts of the state legislature.
