Will they raise taxes? Or will they just eliminate the jobs of even more state workers?

This has been coming to a head since Bob Martinez was governor. Jeb Bush tried to do it and Scott succeeded. THis is a very big win for all people covered by FRS - the Florida Retirement System. My only complaint is that too many people think FRS is just for teachers; FRS covers municipal employees, county employees, state university employees and any other person that works for the state such as the Florida Highway Patrol, correction workers, Department of Revenue, Veterans Affairs, the State Library etc. This is a big win for them too because many of these people listed above are making cooly wages as it is. Go AFSCME

the issue. The point is that what the governor attempted was unconstitutional.
The judge ruled on the fact that a contract is binding.
