were expended empty tubes. They are all disposable now. I bet if they showed a picture down the tube you would see daylight. NO threat to anyone. But they do look scary and it seems the police holding these up as usable weapons are trying to gin up horror.

Probably taken by someone who was about to be discharged at the end of their service as some sort of souvenir. Most likely after having lugged them around for while they decided it was a great opportunity to get rid of them and get something for them in return. They probably don't make as great a wall decoration as rifles - just guessing there. If you have the space to display military memorabilia and things like the rocket launchers they probably work out well.

they are empty tube, you can get them from mil surplus stores.
