Sorry, my liberal heart is not bleeding for Andrea Sneiderman...

It's a freaking Lifetime Movie. She messed up. She gave a bitter, resentful performance during the trial of Neuman and now she has been convicted of perjury. Her worse slip-up? Knowing how Rusty died before that information had been released.

No, she didn't pull the trigger but she knew something BEFORE it happened. She had knowledge no one else could know otherwise. And she was in such a rush to paint Neuman as the sole murderer, she lied under oath.

Her defense team is asking for leniency and cited others who have been granted this. However, NONE of the cases he cited involved a MURDER. (Holy crap, the prosecutor just said this while I am watching!)

Her kids don't have a father because of something she was involved with. That's her real punishment. But she deserves something for lying.

I agree. She should have received a 20-year sentence instead of 5 years. n/t RebelOne Aug 2013 #6

If she was just convicted of perjury, what's the point of making her swear she won't lie?

not to let the children live without their mother just disgusted me. She brought this on herself, and maybe the children will be better off without her for the next 5 years. I do hope they can get good counseling...I cannot imagine the horror of losing their father and then learning their mother was involved in some way.

May they find some peace.

She has proven she isn't fit to be a parent and needs to spend a good many years in prison thinking about what she's done.
