Former pageant queen heading back to prison on fraud charges
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A former titleholder of the Miss Hawaii International pageant will be back behind bars for the next five years.
In April, a jury found Susan Shaw guilty of computer and credit card fraud.
A judge handed down the five-year sentence on Wednesday after she padded the bills of customers to inflate her tips while she worked as a waitress in 2017.
Hawaii News Now previously reported that Shaw was on parole when she stole from at least 105 customers during a four-month period, walking away with an additional $700 in tips.
