I had the good fortune to meet him before the 2018 primary, when, the local Indivisible group put on a series of meetings to which the various gubernatorial candidates were invited to come and speak to voters. I was greatly impressed with his sincerity and genuine concern about the state's problems. I have a pretty good built in bullshit detector, and it was registering absolute zero when I heard him speak. I became a Pritzker supporter on the spot, and have been very, very pleased with my choice every step of the way.

Those people with the "Fuck Pritzker" signs in their yards? Fuck THEM!

16. I met him early on when

there were still several candidates. He came to our five county JFK dinner. So did Kennedy. It was early days, and no one else bothered.

I wonder how many terms he has in him. Unfortunately, I do not think it is more than two. I think his health could become an issue. He has gained a lot of weight. Too many political meals. I know this from sad experience. I have to be careful about those meals, too.
