Workers Rights Amendment will be on the ballot in Illinois.

When I saw their ads I was afraid it was one of these "Right To Work" scams that kill unions and enrich corporations.

Conservatives often use deceptive naming to fool voters into supporting their agenda.

So I did some research, and as far as I can tell, this is a legitimate amendment to protect unions and organized bargaining.

The clincher was when I saw an ad from a conservative group claiming it will raise everybody's property taxes by $2100. In other words. conservative scare tactics.

Does anyone else have any factual information about this?

Good. All I have seen is some TV ads, and to me they seem a little vague on the particulars. Midnight Writer Sep 2022 #4

We only have 6,000 people in town & I've seen 60-80 of these signs.
A good "sign"?

I was not sure what, specifically, they were advocating for.
