Task force report shows dire warnings to Iowa

https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/01/politics/iowa-task-force-report-coronavirus/index.html

I have seen only one person in my apt. complex wearing a mask. Everyone else is out socializing all the time. Being disabled, I rarely leave my apt. But still scares the shit out of me. I do have healthcare workers come by one day a week, who do take all precautions.

I doubt many here will even be aware of this. Our apt. manager is in and out of apartments here and at other complexes all the time with NO MASK! Whole world right now is totally freaking me out! Had to vent...

Governor ("That Woman From Michigan&quot has a mandatory mask order in place. The only time I see folks without a mask is when they're walking outside or if they're driving by in their car, but most of them have a mask dangling from one ear. People seem to be taking it a lot more seriously than they did a couple of months ago when Governor Whitmer started lifting the lockdown. For a while folks acted like it was all over but when the cases began to climb, they started policing themselves a lot more.

Gov. Kimmy didn't even mention Covid when she gave her Trump Adoration speech at the RNC. She only wants to follow that shitbag. Moving back here was the biggest mistake of my life...
Be safe.

So I trundle to the nearby big city where some stores have mandatory face masks.

You are doing the correct thing by staying in your apartment and avoiding the spreaders. Keep your mask handy and you’ll be okay.

Some days it seems people are responsible out there. Sadly, that isn't the norm in Iowa.
Daughter and I decided to go to the grocery store. We decided to do it at the end of the day thinking there would be fewer people there. Indeed, there were fewer, but almost all of them were without a mask.
