Public hearing on school voucher bill in Iowa leg. tonight
from an email from the High Five from Progress Iowa:
1. PUBLIC HEARING TONIGHT: At 5 p.m. this evening, there will be a public hearing on the House version of the voucher scheme bill. This will be a rare instance where legislators pushing through vouchers have to listen to Iowans supporting public schools.
We encourage everyone to leave a public comment here and write to their legislators on the importance of keeping public dollars in public schools.
