Went to a lunch with Braley today

at a little Mexican restaurant in Wapello.
Had about 20 people.
What can I say that we all don't already know? Bruce is a great candidate. He is running and running hard, making no assumptions.
He is fully aware that whoever the Republicans end up with will have truckloads of money to buy airtime all over Iowa. We have seen it in other states close by where money can overcome a stinking candidate (remember Russ Feingold/ Ron Johnson?)

Second time I have met him. He is just as honest and forthright as can be. And of course we will be working hard for him.
Hope many of you join us, because Bruce will probably not be able to match their money. He will have to do it with people knocking doors and making calls.

1. We will all do our part to keep the Senate and make gains in the house

and state levels.

Braley is up by double digits against any Rethug so far. As you said, the koch/teabagger money assault will be a problem.
It can be overcome though.

2. He was way up in 2010 at Labor Day

and then the money came pouring in from who knows where (think it was 2010) - and he barely beat a virtually unknown opponent.
Imagine another Grassley?
