A little different than the other one - this one is called "Newton."

NextGen Iowa has launched a new ad calling out Joni Ernst for siding with special interests over Iowans. The ad is centered on the town of Newton, a town that knows the pain of outsourcing. Ernst signed a pledge with special interests to protect tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.
Ernst is also philosophically opposed to subsidies for renewable energy in Iowa. In addition to being against the Renewable Fuel Standard, she is also opposed to incentives for the wind and solar industries in Iowa. The town of Newton is one place where Iowans know the value of the wind industry. Exxon Ernst is continuing to sound more and more like the big oil companies that support her campaign, and are fighting against Iowa renewable energy jobs. Iowans want someone who will support renewable energy jobs that help Iowas families and help reduce our dependence on oil.
You can view our new ad here: Factory. Our first ad has been verified as true by KCRG (local TV station). NextGen has also placed full page ads in major newspapers across Iowa highlighting Ernsts opposition to the Renewable Fuel Standard.
We are challenging Ernst on her associations with special interests and to take back her pledge. Will you continue to keep up the heat on Ernst by sharing this ad and talking about her support from the oil industry?
