Muscatine throws Santa Clause out of a city council meeting

http://www.kwqc.com/content/news/Protester-in-Santa-suit-interrupts-Muscatine-City-Council-Meeting-465808843.html

That city is becoming a joke. Hopefully once the new council is seated, they will begin to treat their offices with respect.
The guy who throws the coal in the waste basket (BTW we're telling Trump) is their asshole of a city manager. Hopefully he will be gone shortly after the new year.
I hate to go into that city anymore.

From the link:

MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC)- Santa Claus paid a visit to Muscatine City Council Chambers Thursday Night.

He interrupted the meeting grabbing presents out of his bag for the Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson. She received candy from the protester dressed as Santa Claus.

Fourth Ward Alderman Bob Bynum, who was absent, received a Milky Way Bar.

The protester then attempted to give coal to the city council, but was escorted out after giving away two presents.

{snip}

City Administrator Gregg Mandsager is seen later in the video saying the man will be kicked out of city hall for six months.

Can they bar a person from attending council meetings? He did essentially nothing but severely bruise some inflated egos.

I don't have time to look for a link, on my way to work, but I think it went to court, and no, they can't bar a person from council meetings. Can't remember the details.
