I recently went to Maine, and saw 2 of those 30,000 moose. (Mooses?)

Y'all's summer weather is to die for--60's and 70's and usually a breeze.

Some people in Portland told me that Portland is blue, Bangor is red.

Maine accents are cute.

I saw Stephen King's house!

For the past ten years we have been traveling there every other month from SW PA....we absolutely love Maine. It is so clean and beautiful and the coastline is amazing. The only moose we have ever seen was a dead one along the highway in Vermont😭

One of the hottest summers I ever experienced was in Portland, Maine.
Back around 1989.

On the flip side, my last winter there (1992-1993) we had about 9 feet of snow that winter in the city.
Seems we had a blizzard every weekend.

Never will forget trip. Lots of lobster, lots of scenic views, and have a friend who lived here in STLMO that now lives in Portland, ME. Hope he's doing well.

Wow, 30,000 moose!? Gotta watch yourself while driving. Hitting one of these animals can't be good to your car.

Scotsman: What is that enorrrrmous creaturrre?

Guide: That's a moose.

Scotsman: If that's a moose I'd hate to see a rat!
