I hope that all of you will contact Senator Collins to thank her for her support of Judge Jackson

No doubt many of you have berated her for previous votes so now you can be magnanimous and thank her for this stand.

It really will be nice to get Judge Jackson more than the measly 52 votes that Thomas got (though he deserved none of them)

Once Manchin said he would votes yes, there is no courage in Collins' vote. Had Manchin said no and Mitch had told Susan the PAC money depending on a no vote.....now a yes in that case would deserve a thanks. Susan is well known for casting "important" votes only after the result is known.

You don't have to be a swing vote, your vote does not have to matter in the final count. Only that you think this is the right vote to cast. That you, at least, accept the fact that a president has the prerogative to appoint his own justices.

I remember Graham saying this about one of Obama nominee, I don't remember whether it was Sotomayor or Kagan.
