I want to thank you, Ellen. Together, we are building one of the largest grassroots campaigns in Maryland's history.
This is a movement built by thousands of working people standing up and declaring they want a progressive who will bring their voice to Washington. A voice to look out for their interests, and their families.
I will bring that voice because I have walked in your shoes. My family has struggled just like yours have, and I have struggled like you. And I will never forget it.
Campaigns shouldn't be about who has the most rich friends, or who can corral the most thousand dollar checks, but about who is the best choice for you and your family. I believe if we continue to hit every goal, and engage every voter, we can take on the special interests, establishment, and all the money they will spend to hold us back. If we continue to build this movement, we will win.
Now I need you to take the next step and volunteer in your community. We need to engage every voter to overcome the wave of money we will face, and we can only do that if we have your help.
