2. Well, he is....he's the one that mocked Elizabeth Warren with a "tomahawk chop."

He had a bunch of his volunteers do a "woo woo woo" war dance in front of her campaign headquarters.

He sneeringly called her "PER-fesser" to mock her academic credentials and make himself out to be the beer and hotdog-type regular guy.

He's pond scum. I can't muster any sympathy for him at all.

I've had several crazy-ass relatives. While I hope Brown stays out of politics, I can sympathize on coming from a f***ed-up, dysfunctional family.

I do think it's a bit rich, though, the way he ran from the guy like he was scalded.

He actually went on MA TV and, face to the camera, disavowed the guy. Whatever happened to the muted "It's a sad situation for our family, I'll be issuing a written statement later in the day, until then, no comment, and thanks for your understanding...?" It's not like his wife, a former news anchor and a PR flak for Marriott, doesn't know how to write a press release!

He basically called the guy an asshole by saying "I feel sorry for his kids and his wife..." He also played the 'He was a brother from another mother, didn't know him!' card.

Meet Sen. Brown's Connecticut family

Newest Mass. senator has brother in Wolcott

Mark Davis

Wolcott (WTNH) - Senator-elect Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts) is the hottest thing in the Bay State, and now his little brother, who lives in Wolcott, may be on the verge of his own political career.

43-year old Bruce Browne runs a security installation business. He coaches basketball, football and baseball and is involved in the Cub Scouts. He's just as good looking as his older brother, and when he was in Massachusetts, he was often mistaken for Scott.

Here's how he describes the campaign that's being called the "Massachusetts Miracle."

"It's sort of like being at a Super Bowl. It's so full of excitement to have a brother that's succeeded probably the world's best senator the country's ever had, and to put himself in those shoes is absolutely incredible. You know, we're all like, 'has this really happened?' Then, all of a sudden you see him at the airport flying to Washington," Bruce said.

Bruce says his brother is really an independent thinker and really can't be described as some kind of philosophical ideologue.

"He never dives into something, he has to read about it really thoroughly first and then he usually made his decisions based on what he's read or what he feels is the right thing to do. I have the same beliefs. Sometimes you just don't go, you really have to look into things before you jump head first," he said.

Now that his brother is a national political superstar, Bruce says he has already been approached by Republicans here about running for office.

"I never even thought about it before, I was always concerned about, alright, I got a basketball game on Wednesday night," he said.
"But you're thinking about it now?"
"A little bit, yes," Bruce responded.

Bruce says he's planning to invite Scott here in a few weeks so he can see one of his son's basketball games.

What a difference a pesky arrest can make, I guess!

Scott did himself no favors by bringing the multiple marriage/divorce/18 moves in as many years thing into the mix again yesterday, either.

This fraud really enjoys playing the role of the victim.

Brown was found to have three 9 mm handguns in his car, a Crown Victoria, which was described by a caller as a "police type vehicle" according to police.

He was wearing a black tactical bullet proof vest with the word POLICE on the front and the back, 12 fully loaded magazines containing 203 rounds of ammunition, and he carried a silver metal Transportation Security Agency (TSA) badge, the police said.

After calling the Coast Guard and TSA, police discovered that he was not affiliated with either agency. Brown also allegedly carried an expired Coast Guard ID card from his time as a reserve member of the Coast Guard, police said.

Brown was arrested and charged with impersonating a police officer, breach of peace, interfering with a police officer, and possession of a dangerous weapon in a motor vehicle.

I'd throw him under the bus as well.

At this point I'd like to follow the arrest and see what kind of treatment he gets from the legal system. Will he get off because of his big bro', or will he end up in jail where he belongs.

MA resident (presumably licensed in MA) carrying firearms in Ct. where he is likely not licensed. If he is a Ct. resident he is likely licensed there.

This should be interesting. Hope it doesn't get ignored by the msm.

He LIVES in CT, too--he's not a MA resident.

Even if he's got licenses for those weapons, he's not a cop, he's not TSA, he's not "police" and he's no longer Coast Guard--and he had equipment--vests, jackets, blue lights, and so forth-- and documentation--IDs, badges, etc., that suggested that he was.

They're probably not going to show him any love!

9. So he is a Ct. resident. Thanks for the info.

Will be interesting to follow this and see if the state actually enforces the firearms laws on the books for criminals - no matter what their pedigree is.

on edit - no mention of firearms violations, aside from the dangerous weapon in a vehicle and that's a new one to me. The other charges though, are quite serious in my mind.
