Check out this pearl of wisdom — the Island Creek Oyster team is taking its show on the road, D Street to be exact.

The famous seafood suppliers and restaurateurs are hosting the annual Island Creek Oyster Festival right here in Southie at the Lawn on D on Sept. 19 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The festival, formerly of Duxbury, will benefit the Island Creek Oyster Foundation, which provides education and support for responsible, sustainable aqua-
culture. Thanks to a stellar lineup of chefs and musicians, the tickets sold out in one day.

But one lucky Herald foodie will attend — as my plus one. Tune in to Status Report on Boston Herald
Radio today from noon to
1 p.m. and tweet us your deets at @ericacorsano (CC: @heraldradio) every time I say the word “bivalve.” Each tweet will be entered into a drawing and one winner will come to the festival with yours truly.
