A pictorial lookback at the schooldays of Willard Rmoney, Michigan's favorite plutocrat

Mitt Romney's early years in his *home state* of Michigan: He attended Cranbrook, the most expensive, most exclusive school in this or any other nearby state. A school with its own art museum. Its own science institute. An endowment fund that'd boggle your eyes.

The full wording of the gate is: "Cranbrook School A.D. 1927." The "Peacock Gate" was designed by Eliel Saarinen. In the background is the Quadrangle Fountain.

That's where Mittens spent his youth.

When he graduated, he was off to Stanford in Palo Alto, CA, never to return.

Here's a few pics of Mitt in college. Note his dress.

That's Willard on the far right in the white slacks.

You can see that Mitt was the typical American college student of the late 60s, a bigtime supporter of the war in VietNam. Yet, he applied for and received a deferment for the draft due to his soon-to-be Mormon missionary status in France.

Yup, Mitt is just another of us Michiganders. He's just like us. That's good enough for me to vote for him in the Michigan GOPer primary on February 28.

He wore blue jeans, too...just like Mitt. This would make a nice brochure type e-mailer for those that might not know Mitt's background. You could expand to show the rough years living in a Château in France and the job cremating, business breaking years at Bain Capital.

He couldn't wait to get out his "home state," and never looked back.

I love my true home state of Michigan. He knows nothing about Michigan. Another GOP fraud.

DPS was filmed entirely in Delaware, with St Andrews School as the setting for the school.
