Elon Musk to pay for water stations, filtration at all Flint schools

FLINT, MI -- All Flint Community Schools will receive new water stations and water filtration via a donation by tech billionaire Elon Musk.

The school district issued a tweet on Thursday night offering its thanks to Musk and the Musk Foundation "for investing in the health/future well-being FCS Students!"

It's also referenced in the tweet that the district is "Looking forward to our burgeoning partnership! More to come!"

In a reply to the district's tweet, Musk commented "You're most welcome. Hope to do more to help in the future."

So a private billionaire will fix the problem and hopes to be more involved in the future. Government caused the problem, couldn’t fix it, and so the wealthy, private interests will generously step in. Anyone see a possible path to problematic outcomes?

The government is supposed to do this "for the good of everyone" and we have all seen how that has gone.

I believe there is plenty of money and tax cuts to these billionaires to save our country, our ills and yet, it makes the news when it happens.
That is the problem.

It's so rare, it makes the news.

The Walmart family could do so much and yet, they don't.
Or the Johnson family.
Or the Huntsman family.

Where are these people? And where is all that money?

I'm grateful that Bezos and Musk have stepped up. Where are the rest of these billionaires, like the POTUS? (that's because he's wants it all).
