Open message to political campaigns
I approve of Sen Al Franken but not all of his votes. Yesterday a young lady from his campaign called me asking for an early contribution for the upcoming Senate race.
It is three days before Christmas and I and most have put politics aside for the holidays.
I am tapped out from Christmas, from Sandy, from other donating.
I am not yet recovered from the last ugly election, thank you.
I hung up when you brought up Rove and friends because I don't want to hear about him ever again. He is more and more irrelevant if the Senator does his job.
It is true what I said: "I am waiting to see how the Senator votes to know how "much" I support him" and the new session has not even started.
Call me back when the cliff is decided, when we see how much of the damage done by the Bush foreign policy and continued by the Obama administration can be reversed and how much freedom and hope we are actually going to see returning in the future from this group of representatives as he is no longer a newbie.
