MN CD and Legislative District Maps Come out Tomorrow

We should get our first look at the Minnesota Congressional District and State Legislative Map at 1 PM tomorrow. This may affect the Senate District Conventions for some people. To check where and when your Senate District Convention will convene, click the Link Below:

If you can't wait to see the maps, you'll be able to find them at the offical site below after 1 PM:

my districts will have changed. I kind of doubt it, since I'm in a precinct in St. Paul that has a stable population. However, it may just turn out that my Congressional District will expand to include the residence of Michele Bachmann. If that happens, look out. If she doesn't move, she'll be running against a very popular progressive representative, Betty McCollum. She'll lose to her. So, if that happens, she'll be moving to stay in CD-4, I think.

I noticed from the Legislative maps that my State district number might change. That's weird.

south of Stillwater that used to be in CD-6. That's interesting. They vote a bit more Republican over there, but not in Oakdale. I think it will be a wash. We also got Woodbury, which is not so good. It's a Republican community, and pretty large in population.
