Holiday Card drives - anyone know of Minnesota resources?

I have a ton of holiday cards and Christmas cards (every year I buy more and never use them all). I love, love, love receiving them and I know others do too so I would love to send some to those who may not receive any.

I know there are various holiday card drives for the troops - but does anyone know if there any programs for seniors or homeless?

Should I just contact individual nursing homes and see if they will accept some to distribute to their residents?

I looked at Volunteers of America to see if they have anything like that but I didn't see any.

the networks for the Twin Cities news shows. One of the stories tonite had a little blurb about senior citizens who may not have anyone to give them a Christmas present. Sorry to be vague, but it's 2 am, & I just saw this. Need to back away from the computer.
