Elections and gay-marriage in Minnesota

In 2012, conservative George Will predicted that Mitt Romney would win Minnesota. He said that the ballot-measure against gay-marriage would increase Evangelical turnout and cause Romney to win.

Romney lost Minnesota. The ballot-measure was defeated.

Last year, Governor Mark Dayton signed a bill to recognize gay-marriage.

Today, the Star Tribune notes that Mark Dayton brings to his re-election campaign "a string of legislative accomplishments, including balancing the budget, raising the state’s minimum wage and legalizing same-sex marriage."
