There was a horribly worded ballot measure (so horribly worded that I can't confidently say which way I voted), and the options were to keep the current flag or replace it with a flag that looked like something from a former Soviet Republic.

for the first time since 1906, and Mississippi voters (in a nonbinding referendum) chose not to change it?
