Valaris Drillship Collides with Bulk Carrier in Pascagoula, Mississippi
A Valaris drillship hit the Akti bulk carriers ship on Saturday, after breaking free its moorings near the VT Halter Shipyards and Chevron docks in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
At around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a report from the National Response Center of a collision between two vessels.
