FREMONT, Neb. —
The juvenile driver who is accused of being involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a student in Fremont on Thursday has been located and identified, police said.
Fremont police said the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in front of the school.
School administrators were supervising the demonstration to ensure students were safe and peaceful, Fremont Public Schools said.
At one point, a few students entered the street, officials said. A student was hit by a car that stopped in front of the crowd, then began moving.
